We're nearing the halfway point of the fantasy season, and we here at 4QWI sure hope your season isn't already in shambles. If you've got hope yet and want to ensure you get a victory this week, listen up.
Using data, gut feelings and ethereal projections, we will provide you the tools needed to get that juicy dub week after week with 100% accuracy. We will, of course, omit matchup-proof choices such as Puka Nacua and Josh Allen.
Quarterbacks: @BreTT_Shevlin
Start: Caleb Williams vs. New Orleans Saints (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
The Bears offense is starting to get going as they’ve posted 25+ points in their last three games. Going up a Saints squad that had their fair share of trouble containing Drake Maye last week, Caleb draws a favorable matchup this week. Through six weeks the Saints have given up 14 passing TD’s - the second most in the league. With the array of weapons at Caleb’s disposal expect a big day for the Bears offense on Sunday.
Start: Dillon Gabriel vs. Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
I can assure you this is the only time I’ll be telling you to start Dillon Gabriel in any scenario. Whether you’re in a super flex league or your QB is on bye this week and you need a streaming option, consider Dillon Gabriel. The Dolphins defense is abysmal allowing the 2nd most points to opposing QB’s. Considering Gabriel has yet to turn the ball over he provides a high floor this week. If there was ever a week to take the training wheels off and let Gabriel sling it down the field it would be against the Dolphins.

Sit: Trevor Lawrence vs. Los Angeles Rams (London, England, Sunday, 10/19 @ 9:30 AM EST)
The Jaguars are in London this week taking on a stingy Rams team. Last week Trevor Lawrence was sacked 7 times against the Seahawks which should absolutely worry you. The Rams defensive line is arguably much better so Trevor will most likely be running for his life here. Travis Hunter hasn’t shown anything, Brenton Strange was placed on IR, and it’s clear they’re forcing deep balls to BTJ that aren’t connecting. Don’t let their 4-2 record deceive you, this offense is not very good.
Sit: Jaxson Dart @ Denver Broncos (Sunday, 10/19 @ 4:05 PM EST)
If you watched what the Broncos did to the Jets and Justin Fields last week this shouldn’t surprise you too much. The Broncos defense is elite and without Malik Nabers, Dart is gonna have a tough time finding open receivers. Denver is allowing just 165.2 passing yards per game and have given up just 4 passing TD’s in six games. This is gonna be a really low scoring game right now the line is at 40.5 and I would slam the under on that.
Running Backs: @Endydoe
Start: Quinshon Judkins vs. Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
Last week at Pittsburgh was the worst game of the season for the 21 year old rookie with just a 12/36/0 line. However, Judkins has been fantasy dynamite in most of his contests this season, and he has a succulent matchup at home against the Dolphins; a team that just gave up 6.9 yards a carry to Kimani Vidal. Judkins is a top start in my book this week; don't let last week deter you.
Start: Ashton Jeanty @ Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
After a few duds to start his season, Jeanty has began begun to give credence to his top 20 ADP in 2025 fantasy drafts. Jeanty is averaging 4.8 yards per carry in his last three games, along with two rushing tuddies. This week, the Raiders travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. In my eyes, the Raiders will do their best to control the clock and keep the Chiefs off the field and that equals high volume for Jeanty. Not only that, the Chiefs are just about middle of the pack in terms of points allowed to opposing RBs, so the matchup isn't much of a barrier. Jeanty is a high RB2 for me this week.
Sit: Kenneth Walker vs. Houston Texans (MNF, 10/20 @ 10:00 PM EST)
The Seahawks backfield of doom has been here in full effect this season thus far, as Walker, in spite of his high cost on draft day, has not been overly effective. His 20 carries in the the past two Seahawks games are actually lower than co-RB Zach Charbonnet, who has 21. That alone makes both of them tough to trust outside of a weekly flex play. Along with that, Seattle now has to take on a rested Texans defense, who have given up 389 rushing yards this season, fourth least in the NFL; along with that, Houston has allowed just 16 receptions (T-1st) and zero receiving touchdowns to RBs (T-1st) this season. If you have another flex option, leave Walker on your bench this week.

Sit: Tony Pollard vs. New England Patriots (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
It's tough, isn't it? The Titans are in total disarray, and it turns out Mike Vrabel wasn't the problem for this franchise that has steadily declined since the beginning of the decade. Tony Pollard has had the misfortune of being the RB on this dreadful team, and that has amounted to 3.9 rushing yards per carry and two touchdowns this season. Pollard was valued as RB26 in PPR drafts this year, and he has, to his credit, lived up to that as the current RB27 this season. What that means however, is that he is generally nowhere near a must-start. Now for the matchup, the current top of the AFC East, MY New England Patriots, are a matchup from hell for Pollard. New England has allowed 373 rushing yards (3rd) and two rushing touchdowns (T-3rd) to Running Backs this season. Look the other way from Pollard.
Wide Receivers: @spechty49
Start: Deebo Samuel @ Dallas Cowboys (Sunday, 10/19 @ 4:25 PM EST)
Even if Terry McLaurin plays this week the matchup against Dallas presents a shootout level potential. Dallas is no stranger to high scoring games this season allowing the 2nd most yards to WRs and the most TDs to WRs this season. Deebo moves from out wide to the slot which opens up his chances even more. Dallas has allowed the 8th most yards to slot WRs this season. So with Daniels back Deebo should see some decent work in a game I would imagine is pretty high scoring. DraftKings has this matchup with the weeks highest over under sitting at 54.5. Just a hair higher than the Bucs matchup at 52.5.
Start: Mike Evans or Tez Johnson @ Detroit Lions (MNF, 10/20 @ 7:00 PM EST)
Beat up WR room vs. a Decimated CB Room and something’s gotta give! 4 injured CBs in the Lions secondary vs. Chris Godwin DOUBTFUL and Emeka Egbuka missing practice today (10/16), so this opens up Johnson and Evans to see some numbers. Mike Evans is a future HOFer so we don’t gotta focus on him. Tez Johnson showcased his speed last week when he broke free for his one catch that resulted in a 45 yard touchdown. The injuries open up the door for him to get more work and the matchup opens up some big play opportunities. A meaty 52.5 over under in what should be an absolute light show game of the week.

Sit: Jauan Jennings vs. Atlanta Falcons (SNF, 10/19 @ 8:20 PM EST
The reemergence of Kendrick Bourne isn’t my reason for this sit. Pearsall is out and Kittle might still be out. But Jennings himself said he has and I quote "5 broken ribs, 2 ankle sprains, and a shoulder injury" per NBC Sports. That sounds like a blue tent game waiting to happen. If Mac Jones starts then maybe he has a tad more upside. But I’d still take Bourne right now. This is all without mentioning the fact that the Falcons secondary is tough. Tallying the 6th lowest points per game to WR in fantasy is a tough look especially since he’s basically the dude with glass bones and paper skin from SpongeBob right now.
Sit: Jakobi Myers @ Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
Jakobi Myers has a very strong healthy 92% snap rate. However he plays with a shaky at best QB and I firmly believe isn’t that QBs favorite target. You can tell me what the depth chart says but if you use the eye test Tre Tucker is Geno’s WR1. This allows Myers to post mediocre games week in and week out. This will almost certainly not change against KCs stout defense which has only allowed 5 WR touchdowns this year.
Tight Ends: @jvr1210
Start: Dallas Goedert @ Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
As far as tight ends go, nobody has been as on fire and as reliable as Dallas Goedert. Having missed one game on the season, Goedert has still managed to find himself third in receptions, receiving yards, and targets for the Eagles, and he’s not very far behind DeVonta Smith or A.J. Brown in each of those categories. A lot of Goedert’s fantasy value this season has come from his ability to find the endzone, with 5 of the 8 Eagles receiving touchdowns this year.
This week, the Eagles matchup against the Vikings, who rank 20th in terms of fantasy points allowed to TEs so far this year. The Vikings' last game came against the Browns and David Njoku who had 6 receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown. Factor in the seemingly fractured chemistry between A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts, and this week, and every week moving forward, is a good week to start Dallas Goedert.

Start: Mason Taylor vs. Carolina Panthers (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
Last week was an abysmal week for the entirety of the New York Jets offense as they lined up against the Denver Broncos and their seemingly # 1 defense in London. Justin Fields only managed 45 passing yards, and Mason Taylor brought up 1 reception for 2 yards. After a 9 reception game which seemed to be Taylor’s breakout game, calling this game a disappointment would be an understatement. But I believe in Mason Taylor’s talent as the Jets suit up to take on the Carolina Panthers, perhaps without Garrett Wilson. This game has bounceback potential written all over it for Mason Taylor, as the Panthers have allowed the third most touchdowns and most receiving yards to opposing tight ends.
Sit: Hunter Henry @ Tennessee Titans (Sunday, 10/19 @ 1:00 PM EST)
As a Patriots fan, this one hurts, but in a good way, as Drake Maye has seemingly revived the Patriots' wide receiver room, while Hunter Henry has taken a bit of a back seat in this Patriots offense. The Patriots have seen a lot of success with the deep ball lately, getting Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, and Stefon Diggs more and more involved, while Hunter Henry has been less involved. Henry has still seen some action, but it’s been kept to a minimum with just 9 targets over his last three games. This week, Mike Vrabel returns to Nashville as the Patriots take on the Tennessee Titans. So far this year, only 2 tight ends have recorded 50 or more receiving yards, and only 2 tight ends have scored a touchdown against the Titans. For an otherwise abysmal team, the Titans have played relatively well against opposing TEs. Combine the two factors of lower usage and a more difficult positional matchup, and I’d recommend sitting Hunter Henry this week.
