Week 12 Fantasy Football Start/Sits - NFL 2025 (QB, RB, WR, TE)

The final weeks of the fantasy football regular season are here. Between injuries, draft busts and surprise stars, this has certainly been a season for the books. As you look towards your fantasy playoff brackets (hopefully), we here are at 4QWI are slinging some hot and fresh lineup advice to get you a Week 12 dubberoni and cheese.

Using data, gut feelings and ethereal projections, we will provide you the tools needed to get that juicy dub week after week with 100% accuracy. We will, of course, omit matchup-proof choices such as Puka Nacua and Josh Allen.

Quarterbacks: @BreTT_Shevlin

Start: Jacoby Brissett vs Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, 11/23 @ 4:05 PM EST)

Jacoby will make his sixth straight start since taking over for Kyler Murray. Last week, Brissett broke an NFL record for completions in a game with 47. The Cardinals run game is borderline non existent with injuries to James Conner and Trey Benson so expect Arizona to air it out a lot. Jacksonville’s defense has been vulnerable through the air so far ranking 26th overall in the NFL. Brissett projects as a low end QB1 with game script favoring a pass-heavy approach.

Start: Bryce Young @ San Francisco 49ers (MNF, 11/24 @ 8:15 PM EST)

Coming off a breakout game in his last outing, Young threw for 448 yards and 3 TD’s with 0 turnovers. This week the Panthers face a favorable matchup with a 49ers defense that’s struggled in recent weeks. According to FantasyPros, since Week 7 the 49ers have allowed the most passing yards per game to QBs and are middle-to-low in other pass-defense metrics. If the 49ers can shut down Rico Dowdle and the run game, the volume should be there for Bryce to produce another electrifying performance.

Sit: Sam Darnold @ Tennessee Titans (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

Sam Darnold has looked more like Jets Sam Darnold then Vikings Sam Darnold as of late. The turnovers are a major concern here as he’s just not seeing the field well at all right now. The Titans are so inept on offense that trailing in games has become their calling card. A heavy dose of Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet could be in store this week as Seattle looks to just protect the ball and play good defense. There is no need for Sam to be slinging it all over the field against the bottom feeding Titans.

Sit: Jordan Love vs. Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

The Packers look to be out Josh Jacobs this week as he deals with a knee injury suffered in last weeks win over the Giants. Without a good run game to fall back on, Green Bay will struggle offensively against a feisty Vikings defense. The Vikings this season allow the 7th fewest points to QB’s. It doesn’t help that every Packers wide receiver is currently listed as questionable and Tucker Kraft is on IR. (I wouldn’t love to play Love this week 😉)

Sit: J.J. McCarthy @ Green Bay Packers (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

This guy sucks. 9 turnovers in 5 games with one of the best offensive coaches in football and weapons galore. Vikings O-line is also banged up so the expectation is Green Bay will be dialing up a lot of blitzes and try to put pressure on McCarthy as much as possible. The packers have allowed the 8th fewest points to opposing QB’s and McCarthy has only thrown for over 200 yards once this season. If you have this guy on your roster cut bait now.

Running Backs: @Endydoe

Start: Alvin Kamara vs. Atlanta Falcons (Sunday, 11/23 @ 4:25 PM EST)

Having to even talk about Kamara as a fantasy start or sit is weird, but 2025 has not been the veteran RB's year thus far. Entering this week, Kamara sits at RB24 in PPR formats, and that's even a surprising standing given his extremely inconsistent touch count per game alongside extreme inefficiency when he gets those touches. Last week's game against the Panthers was a massive step in the right direction as Kamar garnered 25 touches. In the third full game of the Tyler Shough era, the Saints host the ailing Falcons who have allowed the sixth most points to opposing Running Backs this season. This includes 11th most receiving yards and T-2nd most receiving touchdowns to the position this season as well. I think Kamara is on the upswing and warrants a PPR flex consideration this week.

Start: Travis Etienne Jr. @ Arizona Cardinals (Sunday, 11/23 @ 4:05 PM EST)

Etienne has been on a true bell curve this season as he started very strong, sunk deep for the middle part and is beginning to come alive in the final stretch of the fantasy season. ETN has seen at least 16 carries six times this season, and three of those instances have been in his most recent games. The Jaguars take on the Cardinals this week, who are allowing the eleventh most fantasy points to the position on the season. They are also one of only five NFL teams to have allowed double digit rushing touchdowns to RBs on the year as well (10). Travis is an RB2 in my book this week. Sit: Bam Knight vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, 11/23 @ 4:05 PM EST)

On the flipside of this matchup, the Cardinals backfield has been a weird one to observe this season with injuries plaguing the room. Trey Benson was thought to be activated off IR this week but that has since been debunked, and Emari Demeracdo has also been ruled out leaving Bam Knight with a RB1 role for the Cards this week. I have my doubts on if Knight going to be as dominant in terms of touches with Michael Carter getting some work throughout the season in emergencies. Knight has had some explosive YPC in games this season, but the sample size is low. Additionally, the Jags are a tough go for Knight as they are allowing the fifth least fantasy points to Running Backs, and are only 11 yards behind the Patriots for the least rushing yards allowed this season. After Jacoby Brissett's recent outings, I see the Cardinals entering the game on a pass-first plan, even with Marvin Harrison Jr out. Knight stays on the bench.

Wide Receivers: @spechty49

Start: DK Metcalf @ Chicago Bears (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

Arod may be out but the opportunity against the bears should present a good game for Metcalf. The Bears are a bottom 10 points per game defense to WR. They are 9th in most points allowed to the position. Mason Rudolph does have a habit of spreading the ball around but Metcalf is the clear and obvious choice.

Start: Christian Watson vs. Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

Deep league? Few injury’s on the board? Number 1 guy on his bye week? Christian Watson lives in the boom and bust category and could present some interesting upside. Through his short campaign so far he has 12 catches for 234 yards which comes to an almost 20 yards per catch average. Out of his 17 targets 8 of them were deep passes. A very good Vikings defense still. Watson QB Jordan Love often performs well since Brian Flores took over the Vikings DC job. If you need to work some lineup magic Watson could be of some big play potential assistance.

Sit: Michael Pittman @ Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

Micheal Pittman has been a great fantasy performer all year for the most part. The Chiefs defense is stout especially against WRs. They allow the fourth fewest yards and touchdowns to WR Combined that with the 7th fewest points per game from WRs. They are also tremendous against deep passes. 2nd fewest yards and zero tuddys on deep shots. Just a tough look. The Colts always seemingly play Mahomes very tough. So I expect JT to have his usual game and the defense to capitalize and upset the Chiefs who are currently 3.5 point favorites. But low scoring.

Sit: Jordan Addison at Green Bay Packers (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

It’s tough catching the ball from JJ McCarthy. Most of this is just the QB fault. And I give him grace, he is a “rookie” I guess. But his completion percentage is poor, Justin Jefferson is in front of him who is also having a down year (in terms of Jettas' potential), combined with all that is a tougher than average GB defense whose pass rush will make it very difficult for McCarthy to pass with ease. I expect a pretty meh game for all pass catchers in purple. Tight Ends: @jvr1210

Start: Hunter Henry @ Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

Hunter Henry has been showing signs of life again over the past few weeks, with 6 targets in week 11 against the Jets and 6 targets in week 9 against the Falcons. Although we haven’t seen a double-digit PPR performance for Henry since week 4, and he hasn’t found the endzone in a few weeks, this feels like the week where Henry could do both against the Bengals. The Bengals have statistically been the worst team in the NFL against opposing tight ends, allowing 808 receiving yards and 12 receiving TDs in their 10 games so far this year. My confidence is extremely high in Henry this week, in what should be an overall favorable match-up for New England.

Start: Mark Andrews vs. New York Jets (Sunday, 11/23 @ 1:00 PM EST)

With Lamar Jackson back at the helm, Mark Andrews has come to life. Over the last three weeks, Andrews has only had 8 receptions, but boy, has he made those receptions count, recording three receiving TDs. Last week, Andrews also bolstered his fantasy value by taking a direct snap under center, carrying it for a 35-yard TD, his first rushing TD of his career. My confidence in Andrews is back, and I expect him to have a great opportunity to continue this hot streak against the New York Jets, who are middle of the pack against opposing tight ends. Overall, this should be a mismatch for the Ravens, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get Andrews involved early on again.

Sit: David Njoku & Harold Fannin Jr. @ Las Vegas Raiders (Sunday, 11/23 @ 4:05 PM EST)

All signs appear to be pointing towards Shedeur Sanders taking the helm again for the Cleveland Browns this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Sanders' debut against the Ravens in Week 11 was an absolute disaster, no other way to put it. The rookie went 4/16 for 47 yards and threw an interception. Njoku was held for 1 reception for 7 yards, and Fannin Jr. was held to 2 receptions for 26 yards, with each recording 1 reception with Sanders under the helm. This week presents a tough match-up for the Browns TEs as they face off against the Raiders, who have allowed the fourth-fewest points to opposing tight ends this season. Stay away from Njoku and Fannin Jr. this week.
