Fantasy Football Starts/Sits - NFL Week 10 2024 (RB, WR, TE)

NFL Week 10 is here, and that means another week of 4QWI's 100% accurate start/sits for your fantasy football lineups this week. Sit down, grab your morning coffee for this abomination of a London game this morning, and get your lineups right.

Like usual, we will go ahead and leave out the effective matchup-proof picks such as Justin Jefferson and Derrick Henry. Let's get into it.

Running Backs: @BreTT_Shevlin

Start: Tyrone Tracy Jr. vs. Carolina (London, 11/10 @ 9:30 AM EST)

Tracy has taken over this backfield completely .

In WK9:

- 70% of RB carries

- 100% of RB targets

He’s racked up 100+ yards in 3 of 5 starts and has looked EXPLOSIVE! The Panthers are allowing the most points to RBs over the last month with 31.2 so give me all of Tracy this week. Devin Singletary has seemingly been phased out and as I called a few weeks ago, the Giants are now allowing their young talent to play in hopes of turning around the season.

Start: Jaylen Warren @ Washington Commanders (Sunday, 11/10 @ 1:00 PM EST)

With an uptick of usage since Russell Wilson taking over, consider Warren a strong flex play in week 10. Commanders allow a league high 5.23 yds/carry to opposing backs.

WK7: 14 touches

WK8: 11 touches

With 25 combined touches the last 2 weeks, I would expect that number to increase on the road vs a high scoring Commanders team. Jayden Daniels will force the Steelers into a pass heavy game script which should favor Warren over Najee.

Start: Aaron Jones @ Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, 11/10 @ 1:00 PM EST)

Saquon: 32.9

Jacobs: 25.5

Swift: 21.9

These are 3 of the last 4 games against the Jags. Their defense has been absolutely dreadful. In comes Minnesota who have looked strong this year thanks in large part to Aaron Jones. Jones has been a workhorse this year garnering about 19 touches/game and over 100 yds/game.

The Jags should help him get back in the end zone this week.

Sit: Tony Pollard @ Los Angeles Chargers (Sunday, 11/10 @ 4:05 PM EST)

Pollard has taken on a workhorse role the past 3 weeks, but that should change now that Tyjae Spears seems to be healthy again. With Pollard set to lose touches, and a tough road matchup with the Chargers I would look to other options for this week.

The Chargers defense has been a top 10 unit all year allowing 10 points or fewer 4 times this season. Pollard will have an uphill battle this week as he’s also nursing a foot injury. Going into the contest, the Chargers have allowed just 1 rushing td as well. You may have been encouraged by last week, but don’t expect a repeat performance this week.

Sit: Travis Etienne Jr. vs. Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 11/10 @ 1:00 PM EST)

The split in touches between Etienne and Bigsby is not good for either players upside, but to make things worse the Vikings are on tap. Minnesota held Jonathan Taylor to just 59 total yards last week and it looks like Trevor Lawrence is trending towards being out. With that being said, I would avoid every Jaguars player this week because I had to suffer through the Mac Jones years in New England and it wasn’t pretty.

Wide Receivers: @spechty49

Start: Tyreek Hill @ Los Angeles Rams (MNF, 11/11 @ 8:15 PM EST)

I know he’s Tyreek Hill and you don’t need me to tell you this but he’s back. Thank Tua. The matchup is against an extremely favorable Rams secondary. The Rams have ceded big games to the likes of Marvin Harrison Jr, Jayden Reed, Jaxon Smith-Njigba. After two trial weeks I thinks it’s fair to say barring injuries Tyreek is back to his must start form.

Start: Courtland Sutton @ Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, 11/10 @ 1:00 PM EST)

The matchup is tough I must admit. But the rookie QB seemingly only relying on Sutton is a great sign for fantasy owners. 21 targets for 15 catches and 222 yards that last two games. The rookie QB is clearly finding his favorite target. I would expect a good chunk of targets again this week.

Sit: Marvin Harrison Jr. vs. New York Jets (Sunday, 11/10 @ 4:05 PM EST)

As a man with Marvin Harrison Jr on my roster this hurts. But he’s going up against the Jets who are a brutal fantasy WR matchup. Against the top 15 defenses against WR he has faced (BUF 7, GB 13, SF 14, MIA 3, LA 9, CHI 2) he has put up 5 games under 10, 1 of the games being 0, and 1 of them with 1. The outlier here being Miami where he torched them for 7/111 and a TD. So against similar defenses he struggles. The Jets are no different finding themselves at 5th right above the Bears who MHJ played last week and did poorly.

Sit: Calvin Ridley Jr. @ Los Angeles Chargers (Sunday, 11/10 @ 4:05 PM EST)

Will Levis was a nice change of pace QB last year but as a starter full time he’s cheeks on his best day. He’s looking like he might be back and that’s just not what Ridley needs. All his best games coming at the hands of Mason Rudolph.

But let’s play the game and say Levis does not return this week. The Chargers are still a top 10 fantasy defense against the pass. So I think with Rudolph it’s shaky but if it’s Levis… yikes.

Tight Ends: @Endydoe

Start: Jonnu Smith @ Los Angeles Rams (MNF, 11/11 @ 8:15 PM EST)

Smith has been on a pretty respectable streak in his last 4 games: 21 catches for 224 yards and a tuddy. This week, he and the Dolphins travel to the city of LA to take on the Rams on Monday Night Football. A good matchup exists for Jonnu, who has Tua throwing to him again; the Rams are allowing the seventh most yards per game to opposing Tight Ends, and sixth most touchdowns to the position. Smith is a decent streaming option if you're in a pinch. Start: Taysom Hill vs. Atlanta Falcons (Sunday, 11/10 @ 1:00 PM EST)

The Swiss Army knife of the NFL has had some involvement in the offense since returning from injury, including last week's game versus the Panthers where he had 4 catches for 41 yards along with 5 carries for 19 yards and a touchdown. It's difficult at times to trust starting Hill, but he has a good case this week not only because of his performance last week, but the matchup. Purely in the air, the Falcons are allowing the eighth most PPR points to Tight Ends this season, and on the ground they are ceding the tenth most rushing yards per game. Hill is surely a boom or bust option, but a fun one at least.

Sit: Sam LaPorta @ Houston Texans (SNF, 11/10 @ 8:20 PM EST)

Yeah, this one hurts. As someone who managed to snag LaPorta late in drafts last season, I fell in love with the guy. This season has been a different story for the Sophomore Tight End who is having a tough time getting fed in the star-studded Lions offense. With just two touchdowns this season and having eclipsed 50 receiving yards in just two games this season, rostering LaPorta is debatable, let alone starting him. I don't see this getting better this week as LaPorta and the Lions take on the Texans who lead the NFL in PPR points versus Tight Ends, including allowing just 20.11 yards per game to the position. Keep him benched.
