Week 1 of the NFL season is officially underway as we saw the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Dallas Cowboys 24-20 on Thursday night as well as the LA Chargers defeating the KC Chiefs 27-21 on Friday night. Sunday is the day things really get under way as the adrenaline rush of emotion is real when I hear Scott Hanson's infamous catchphrase "7 hours of RedZone Football start now!" This season I will be coming up with 3 of the juiciest games of the week and I will be asking 7 of my friends to predict the winner. Over the course of the year I will be updating the standings so all of you can follow along at home.
Without further ado, let's get into the predictions!
PIT @ NYJ (1:00 PM EST)

Aaron Rodgers makes his return to New York in what appears to be his final season in the NFL. After a disastrous tenure in which he went 6-12 as a starter, Rodgers joins DK Metcalf as significant upgrades to Pittsburgh's offense from a year ago. The Jets will start former Steeler Justin Fields in hopes that his dual threat ability can provide a spark for new Head Coach Aaron Glenn. I asked everyone to predict the winner and here are those results:
Brett: Steelers
Kevin: Steelers
Specht: Steelers
Austin: Jets
Tom: Jets
Noah: Steelers
Dante: Steelers
Jay: Steelers
DET @ GB (4:25 PM EST)

Anticipation is high for Micah Parsons debut as a Green Bay Packer as they host their division rival the Detroit Lions in week 1. Last season we saw the Detroit Lions win the NFC North with a record of 15-2, while the Green Bay Packers went 11-6 and lost in the wild card round to the eventual champs the Philadelphia Eagles. Let's see who the boys have winning:
Brett: Lions
Kevin: Packers
Specht: Packers
Austin: Lions
Tom: Packers
Noah: Packers
Dante: Lions
Jay: Lions
BAL @ BUF (8:20 PM EST)

A rematch from the AFC divisional a year ago the Ravens look to avenge their loss against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. There will be a lot at stake in this one as the top two favorites for NFL MVP face off in what is most people's game of the week. Although it's only week 1, the winner will benefit from having the head to head tiebreaker which could be crucial later down the line. Now we go to the panel to predict the winner:
Brett: Ravens
Kevin: Bills
Specht: Ravens
Austin: Ravens
Tom: Ravens
Noah: Ravens
Dante: Bills
Jay: Bills
