THIS WEEK'S PICK'EM SLATE: 1) Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) @ New Orleans Saints (2-0) (Sunday 9/22 @ 1:00 PM EST)
The hottest team in the NFL over the first two weeks takes on a team entering the season as a Super Bowl contender, as the Saints host the Eagles today. The Saints currently have a +62 differential, including a stomp of NFC powerhouse Cowboys last week. They take on Dallas's division mate in the Eagles who continue on a difficult season schedule. This should be a huge statement game for whichever team comes out on top.
Noah (3-3): Saints
Brett (3-3): Saints
Kevin (3-3): Saints
Specht (3-3): Saints
Austin (3-3): Saints
Jay (3-3): Saints
Big D (3-3): Eagles
2) Baltimore Ravens (0-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (1-1) (Sunday 9/22 @ 4:25 PM EST)
Two underperforming teams face off in a matchup to get back on track as the 0-2 Ravens travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. The Ravens are in a historical "must-win" matchup, as only six teams in NFL history have ever made it to the playoffs after starting their season 0-3. The Cowboys on the other hand just got mollywomped by the Saints last week and are looking to rebound and assert their spot at the top of the NFC East. Another extremely intriguing game this week.
Noah (3-3): Cowboys
Brett (3-3) Ravens
Kevin (3-3): Ravens
Specht (3-3): Cowboys
Austin (3-3): Ravens
Jay (3-3): Cowboys
Big D (3-3): Ravens
3) Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) @ Atlanta Falcons (1-1) (SNF, 9/22 @ 8:20 PM EST)
Tonight's Sunday Night Football matchup has the Kansas City Chiefs travelling to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. Early worries about Kirk Cousin's health and abilities post-injury were somewhat quashed as he led a DAWG of a drive to win in the final moment's of last week's Monday Night Football matchup vs. the Eagles. The Chiefs look to stay on course in their 3-peat campaign, but retain some question marks with Travis Kelce being very quiet thus far and RB1 Isiah Pacheco out for up to two months. The Falcons are in an ever-tightening NFC South race with the red-hot Saints and Bucs, and would hate to fall too far behind the pack early on. The word of the week in all of these matchups is momentum, and this one is no different.
Noah: (3-3): Chiefs
Brett (3-3): Falcons
Kevin (3-3): Chiefs
Specht (3-3): Chiefs
Austin (3-3): Chiefs
Jay:(3-3): Chiefs
Big D (3-3): Chiefs
